It's been a busy few weeks for us at the club and on the web site, so here's a run down on the latest happenings at WTK BMX.
- Our recent club nights have seen some really great rider numbers, the heat of late has also been amazing. Receiving ice-blocks at the end of the night has been excellent. If you're new to the club, welcome!
- Waitakere City BMX Club will be hosting a meeting at the new Puni (Nationals) track on the 13th March. This will give our riders a good chance to get more time on the new track in time for the nationals. Go to the downloads page for the entry form.
- Our web site has been shifted to a new hosting location. A MASSIVE thanks to Sarah King for providing our web site with a home over the last several years. Now that the shift is out of the way, regular updates will be happening again. Thank you for your patience whilst we made the change, we did have a few hours of down time in there - but things went pretty smoothly overall.
- On that note, the web site has taken over 3000 hits in the last thirty days. Another 500 or so more than last month. If you've been looking at our site, thanks.
- We've added a new forum to our web site. Go here and have a look. We hope that the forum becomes a great place to mix and mingle with our members and visitors alike.
- Got something to sell? The forum has a For Sale section. If you're in the market for some BMX stuff, place a "Wanted" listing in there.
- It's only a matter of weeks to the nationals - so if you're a club member, you should have handed your entry into Sheryl by now. We hope you're training hard. We know Brendan's been working our WTK riders hard....
- We're continuing to make changes to our web site, and we'd still appreciate feedback on the matter. Please contact Cliff at
