Tonight saw another geat night of racing. Good numbers and a fast track made for some close, exciting action.

Amongst the action, brothers Cole and Blake Nyenkamp decided to have a get-together on the triple jump (look for the shots below), but both emerged no worse for wear after a few moments to gather themselves.

Some of our riders were taking things a little easier than the Nyenkamp brothers, using the track time to warm up for this weekend's Auckland Championships, being held at Papakura. (Speaking of which, get out there and support Waitakere BMX riders if you can)

Our younger classes are looking very strong at the moment and it was great to see several families turning up to watch and support their young ones. BMX is a family sport, and it's always good to see that the fun side of things takes top priority for competitors.
